I head out to meet my middle school classmates shushus Shuiyongchang and Lishulin for an easy-going get-together. Shushu Shui picks up the tab for a slap-up, wholesome lunch at a food joint in one of Qinling’s 72 ravines. Dishes are served one by one, including a steaming stone pot where chunks of chicken sizzle in spicy broth while we are chewing the fat, entirely in our zone.
赴约与两位中学同学水永昌叔叔和李树林叔叔聚会。水叔叔择秦岭七十二峪一处饭馆请我们，备下丰盛午餐。菜依次上桌，包括一个辣汤汁，嗞啦滋啦，热气腾腾的石锅鸡。我们闲话漫聊，心境舒展，悠然自在。
It turns out to be a packed day for Yunduo’er. Gugu takes Yunduo’er, jiejie Panpan and mummy out for roujiamo, something of our go-to bite whenever we come to Xi’an. Stuffed to the gills, Yunduo’er and Panpan buckle down to New Concept English assignments. After Gufu calls it a day and comes back, he whisks the whole group off for skewered food. They walk off their meal with an ensuing stroll along a lake whose banks are lined by tall glowing buildings.
云朵儿一天充盈饱满。姑姑带云朵儿、姐姐盼盼与妈妈去吃肉夹馍，我们每至西安必吃肉价摸。吃饱了，云朵儿与盼盼敛心学新概念英语课业。姑父下班回家便率众外出吃烤串儿。餐后大家沿湖散步消食，湖畔高楼栉比，灯火熠熠。
