Yunduo’er steps out into shallows, tiptoeing, stooping or squatting, her eyes trained on any tiny pebbles that might catch her fancy, with a pagoda looming atop a distant hill overlooking the unruffled river shimmering in Qikou’s radiant morning sunlight. This is the first time Yunduo’er is truly at one with Yellow River. And of course, she ends up with a small but proud collection of choice stones.
遥岑之上古塔屹立，俯瞰大河粼粼，浸润于陕西碛口古镇的朗耀晨光中。云朵儿踏至河滩浅洲，踮足往来，俯身蹲踞，目光凝注，寻觅意中小石。这是云朵儿第一次如此近距离心神融于黄河浩渺气运之中。当然，云朵儿觅得数块佳石，颇感自得。
We turn away from the river, threading south across Luliang’s rolling loess highlands toward the Guanzhong Plain. We grab a modest bite at Qujiang Service Area as the cityscape of Xi’an, Shaanxi, is unfolding, and we get to the place of gufu and gugu at almost 9pm. At long last jiejie Panpan comes back to her family fold after being away for over 20 days, and Yunduo’er is tickled pink seeing gugu and gufu who’ve come down to greet us.
辞别河畔，向南穿越吕梁层叠起伏的黄土高地，奔赴关中平原。西安城廓风物，于眼前缓缓铺展。停曲江服务区简食小憩。近晚9点到达姑父姑姑家。别二十余天，盼盼姐姐终得回归父母怀抱。姑姑姑父出迎，云朵儿见到二位长辈，顿添活气。
